The Musical Beginning Foundation believes that “Music is the Medicine”. Recognizing the proven power of how music can improve mental health, our foundation is dedicated to empowerment and enrichment. The Musical Beginning Foundation gives the gift of music, instruments, support, and entertainment to help those in need. 
 

“The Musical Beginning Foundation” is led by founders Heather Roberts and “Grammy Award Winner” Micki Free. Heather is a fashion designer and couturier for rockstars and celebrities alike, as well as the co-founder and designer for a theatrical events company in the Pacific Northwest. Micki is also a “Five-Time Native American Music Award Winner” and an Inductee into “The Native American Music Hall of Fame”. Micki’s extensive career in the music business as a producer, writer, and performer, and Heather’s production experience in the entertainment and theater industry, creative passion and eye for design will help inspire and inform.
